disposable.
disposable.
disposable. is a collection of photographs taken on various disposable cameras over 10 years (so far). Oftentimes I fill a camera over a long span of time and then unintentionally wait to develop it so I forget what is waiting. Like a time capsule. Sometimes I write senryu poems, which has been an interesting exercise of nostalgia, hand clapping and finger counting.

I heard a dog died
Contaminated water
Consumed E. Coli
Birthday Wishes
I would give a damn
If you all would give a damn
’Till then I’ll eat cake
Not organic though
You’re moist and tender
You took your time slow roasting
You’re a natural
Happy Thoughts
I look at ease here
Because I likely forgot
That some day I’ll die
Manners
Homemade paella
I would have licked your whole pan
But I was a guest
Skater Boys
Practice makes perfect
Which probably hurt a lot
But you look cool now
Butter Fingers
This didn’t come out
I dropped the camera
My buttah fingahs!
Not Yet a Woman
Who were you back then?
Could only afford box wine
And thrift store sweatshirts
Rainwater
You checked puddle depth
Then you got back in the car
And drove straight through it
Vacationland
Took a ferry here
Only one general store
But lots of lobster

Tiny little knots
To braid bracelets for my friends
Mostly to pass time
